Decoupage Delights

Hey girls, thanks to all those who made the tea party on thursday, it was lovely to eat cake with such lovely ladies!

For all you guys who couldn't make it, we decided that next month we would try some decoupage. I have added a link to the right which explains in detail about the technique. I have found a shop on Great Western road which sells decoupage paper, so the plan is that i will go and buy a selection of papers (in addition, if you have any scraps of interesting papers bring them along!), glue and brushes, probably be a couple quid each but will let you know when i know numbers.
All you lovely ladies need to do is bring along an object to decoupage. It might be something traditional like a box or tray, or just a cheap small mirror or picture frame from the likes of Ikea or TK Max...use your imagination! The craft shop on Great Western Road sells wooden letters or cardboard animals if you fancy going in and checking them out, you will be greeted by a huge decoupage giraffe, the women in the shop said she even decoupaged her bike, and if your feeling cheeky ask to see their decoupage toilet seat! All you need to do before the next night (last thursday of the month - August) is to leave a comment or get in touch with me letting me know if your coming so i know how much paper to buy, look forward to seeing you all soon xxxx
